Myths and creeds are heroic struggles…

…to comprehend the truth in the world.
The Christian Science Monitor has a fascinating article about the mismatched ‘Mythbusters’.
Mythbusters is one of those shows that moves beyond geek cult status (thought it certainly has that!)
The whole family loves it, the husband nerd unit getting into the science (and the extremely popular Kari in equal amounts I suspect!). All of the kids watch it too, from the three year old small lad, the five year old princess who squeals with delight when she sees it start, the 11 year old who wants to be a mythbuster one day, even the nearly 14 year old anime goth-in-making likes it. I have even caught the 20 year old biggest girl watching it, but I bet she would deny it;)
I get into the science also, and would love to be a mythtern (mythbuster intern) when I grow up….
