…but churches don’t want free men who can think for themself and find their own divinity within. When a religion becomes organized it is no longer a religious experience but only superstition and estrangement.

…there is no evidence for it, but you can’t prove that there aren’t any, so shouldn’t we be agnostic with respect to fairies?
So, the Pope in his recent speech offending the Muslims, also made a comment about Western (secular) society:
“Only this can free us from being afraid of God — which is ultimately at the root of modern atheism”
Hang on, atheism is becase of fear of God???? Thats plain silly. And someone has a far better way of arguing the case why: Effect Measure

This is why I am a human rights advocate. Anyone who can stand that this happens is inhuman. You are NOT of humanity. You have reduced yourself to something less. The abuse of the vulnerable and innocent must stop. Get angry. Raise your voice. Write articles. Demand better from your politicians, demand their voices on your behalf, raised in protest.
For humanity’s sake, for the world we have, the world we pass on, for heaven’s sake, get angry.

The delightful Reverend Moon, founder of the Washington Times, cult leader, and all round scary dude, being feted and attending his ‘Coronation’ in the houses of the US Government? See the Bushes and other conservative, Christian, Republican types pander to this man. Its beyond bizarre. Joseph Heller couldn’t have written this. Its beyond outrageous, we have hit the surreal - we are WAYYYY on the other side of the Looking Glass!
