Law and justice are not always the same…

…when they aren’t, destroying the law may be the first step toward changing it.

A Saudi woman is sentenced to ninety lashes with a whip for being in a car with a family friend - when they were kidnapped, and she was gang raped. The court doesn’t dispute the rape took place.
Her family will appeal - the leniency of the rapists’ sentence.

Saudi justice? Is this what Sharia law is? I am sorry, I want to believe better things of Islam, but this stuff, its just is awful. Fundamentalist religious law is always anti woman, always pro male. Doesnt matter whether Christian or Muslim. Religion should have no part in law, because religion seems to have NO concept of justice.
