If we die…

…it will be for GLORY, not gold.

Look, I will make this as simple as possible. Go see Beowulf.

See it in 3D. Trust me. It is a thing of magic in an often bleak world.

Of course, I just had a fantastic night seeing it, so I amy be biased;)

Science and art have…

…that in common that everyday things seem to them new and attractive.

Trying out a new browser - Flock. And I am loving it. It is such a new way of utilising the browsing experience, while tying it into social networking and media online. Great lateral thinking, all using the Mozilla Gecko engine.  And this post is from the builtin blog editor. Very sweet.

Being happy doesn’t mean that…

November 23rd, 2007 by timelady

…everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.

It is so hard for me to accept happiness, after some wild and consuming tempests, and far too many ‘opportunites for personal growth’.

Yet, oh, but yet, I am, at the moment, with several caveats for personal superstition, I am actually happy. It is terribly odd, and it is a shock and surprise dropped in my lap (that I did all I could to avoid…), but I will take my happiness where I can, thank you:) And I am grateful for the gift of joy I am being offered.

To celebrate, via  New Linux User, a happy Tux cake :)
