Penguin gets promoted in Norwegian Navy. Seriously.
The penguin in question, the delightfully named Nils Olav, was promoted on Wednesday to Colonel in Chief of the Royal Norwegian Guard.
Some days, my joy knows no bounds. What a delightful world we live in:)

…everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.
It is so hard for me to accept happiness, after some wild and consuming tempests, and far too many ‘opportunites for personal growth’.
Yet, oh, but yet, I am, at the moment, with several caveats for personal superstition, I am actually happy. It is terribly odd, and it is a shock and surprise dropped in my lap (that I did all I could to avoid…), but I will take my happiness where I can, thank you:) And I am grateful for the gift of joy I am being offered.

I have chickens. Oddly deranged, stupid but with flashes of what passes for genius. They each have a distinct personality. Jolly good fun. Stupid damn things:) I name them things like Sandwich, Roast, Satay, Noodles, Honey, etc.
