What’s so wrong…

Subvert the…

…dominant paradigm.

You want attention for your completely crapful attempt at art? here’s a clue, honey, if you have to explain it in terms that render as random gibberish, you may be just a stupid attention seeking talentless bint. Actually, scratch that . You ARE a stupid attention seeking talentless bint.

And thanks for turning miscarriages into ‘art’. I guess I am a Rembrandt.

My contempt for this foolishness is unbounded. I may not know much about art - but I know this isn’t it.

The secret of contentment is…

…knowing how to enjoy what you have, and to be able to lose all desire for things beyond your reach.

So, now we have done melancholy, let us look at finding contentment. This was a timely article, and just what I wanted to dwell further on today.

For if melancholy is the gentler brother of sorrow and grief, then surely contentment is the valued, wiser brother of that frenetic whirlwind happiness. I have known great, searing happiness, and the anguish of pain, loss, and grief. Both the heights and depths have taught me to value that self effacing, humble gift of contentment.

If happiness chooses to come again, it will be celebrated as the ephemeral event it is. But I will remain a devoted follower of that quieter, peaceful joy, contentment.

A robot may not injure humanity…

…or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

This is my new favourite April Fool’s joke ever.

There are very few personal problems…

…that cannot be solved through a suitable application of high explosives.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t work explosives into this solution. And I want you to know I tried, oh, how I TRIED!

Nonetheless, the blogging issue has been solved by a Firefox plugin, Scribefire. Wonderful, easy to configure and start using.

Sadly, however, explosive free. Sigh. Oh well, one cannot have it all.

You don’t love someone for their looks…

…or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.

So, here I am, on Valentine’s Day, having a romantic dinner, and we are both using our laptops at a local restaurant that has wireless access.

Finishing up the cappucinos and tiramisu (he knows my weak spots so well), I decided to blog him a present.

Here you go sweetheart:)

The Grand essentials of happiness are…

…something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

This is one of the reasons I am happy :)

Yes, I *AM* lucky, aren´t I? ;)

Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and numbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail…

…and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy.

Ahh, the hysterical wit and wisdom* of a TSC legend, and gaming (mad) genius, the one and only Coyote. I particularly commend to you the sad and hysterical saga of Hermann.

* He is right about clowns, especially the dolls.
